Wash the basil and store unused portion wrapped in a paper towel in a baggie in the fridge. Cut dates into small pieces and remove pits.

1 1/2 bananas
2 dates, pitted
1 Tbl. ground flaxseed meal, hemp or chia seeds
approx. 8 large fresh basil leaves
1-2 large handfuls spinach
1 1/2 cups coconut water
Blend all ingredients until smooth and dates are fully broken down, about 2 full minutes. You can clean up and put everything away while it's blending.
If your bananas are super ripe, the extra date may not be necessary for the perfect amount of sweetness. Remember that coconut water is sweet too. You'll have to experiment, take mental notes and see what works best for you.
