Raw Oatmeal

Soak the groats overnight.

1 1/3 cup oat or rye groats, soaked overnight, rinsed & drained well

2 bananas

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla

pinch salt

1/2 cup homemade almond milk

2 dates


Place groats, bananas, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and a little nut milk in a food processor until blended but not perfectly smooth. You'll want it somewhat textured/chunky so as not to spike your blood sugar. Serve in your favorite bowl and you can add milk, more cinnamon, cacao nibs, fresh fruit, whatever strikes your fancy.
