Nut Butter & Jelly Smoothie

This is a brand new smoothie I created with my husband in mind. He likes his smoothies cold enough and sweet enough, so honey, here you go! 


1 serving


3/4 cup coconut water or non-dairy milk of choice (almond, cashew, coconut, etc.)

1 capful vanilla extract

2 handfuls of raw baby spinach leaves, or however many you feel makes the smoothie healthy

1 Tbl. almond butter

1 date, pitted

1 banana

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

Ice (optional)


Place all ingredients in blender in order, liquids first, frozen stuff last. Blend on high until super smooth, approx. one whole minute, while you clean up and put things away.
