I like to have my cutting board, knife and garbage bowl ready next to the juicer before I start. Wash all ingredients and place on cutting board. Citrus should be peeled and seeded. Waxy cucumber peeled. Apples cored.
1/2 Lemon, peeled & seeded
1 small head Romaine
3-5 large leaves Chard
1/2 an Apple
1-2 inches Ginger, depending on your spiciness tolerance
1 whole bunch Celery
Start on a low setting on your juicer, and juice the parsley and lemon. Switch to high and juice remaining ingredients.
Celery and cucumber add volume to this green juice. You may need to add more of these to yield a full 32 ounces.
